Hello Blues Fans,
Since our last update we hope that everyone and their families have been well and healthy through this pandemic. Through Wishful Thinking we had hoped to be in a position of ramping up for our Annual Aurora Winter Blues Festival this coming March. As the situations stands now, even with the encouragement of the vaccine rollout, we will have to postpone our March 2021 Festival.
In place of the live Festival, we are exploring the opportunity to undertake a virtual Festival in 2021. In addition, we are working in the background with our partners to bring you some virtual music events in the New Year featuring a sampling of our extremely talented local youth and senior musicians – stay tuned for more details.
In the meantime, some good news – we are thrilled to announce our support as a sponsor of the 2021 Virtual Maple Blues Awards hosted by the Toronto Blues Society. Please visit the TBS web site for more details on the MBA’s which will be streamed live in February on four separate dates from Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Vancouver.
